Henry "Sonny" Maddox Obituary

Henry “Sonny” Maddox, 76, of Bryan, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 17, 2025. A Visitation will be held from 10am to 10:30am on Thursday, April 24, 2025, in the Chapel of Trevino Smith Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will follow at 11am at Restever Memorial Park.


Born September 30, 1948, in Bryan, Texas, he was the son of Buck and Stella (Lambright) Maddox. Sonny was a man who enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved to fish and spent countless hours at the river with his friends. Above all, Sonny loved his family deeply and cherished every moment he spent with them.


Sonny is preceded in death by his parents, Buck and Stella; his brothers, Robert and Sam Maddox; and his sisters, Faye Maddox and Joyce Stevens.


He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his constant Partner, Belinda Maddox; a daughter, Kimberly DeAnn Maddox; a sister, Merle Snider; his special friend of many years, Kathy Martin; as well as, numerous nieces, nephews, and, friends.


Sonny will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him. 


Pallbearers will include: James Batten, Will Batten, Jamie Batten, Scooter Fonville, Larry Hale, and Tony Contreras.
