Hector G. Rivera, 52, of Bryan passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2021. Funeral Services are set for 12PM Wednesday, April 28 in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home. Pastor Milton Mendoza will officiate and burial will follow in the Bryan City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8PM Tuesday, April 27 also at Trevino-Smith.

Born June 7, 1968 in Mexico he was the son of, Flavio Rivera Fraga and Felipa de Rivera Gamez. Hector found great passion in preaching the word of God. He also liked spending time with his family. He especially loved spending time with his parents and his precious daughters, Joselinne, and Arlette Rivera Rodriguez who he loved dearly.

 Hector leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of four years, Genara (Gutierrez), two daughters, Joselinne Rivera Rodriguez, and Arlette Rivera Rodriguez, four brothers and their families, Jose Roman Rivera and Maria and their four children, Jose Sandro, Yajaira, Vanesa, and Rebeca Rivera; Isidro Rivera and Luz Elena and their children, Jerardo, Mayra, and Laura Rivera Galvan; Benigno Rivera and his son, Jacob Rivera; Jose Jaime Rivera and Virgen along with their four children, Andrea Sarai, Jose Flavio, and Emiliano Rivera Avarca; he also leaves, two sisters and their families, Maria Rivera and her family the Pedraza Rivera and Teresa Rivera.
