Guillermo Martinez Sanchez, 77, of Rosanky, Texas passed away Friday, February 16, 2024. A Visitation is set for Sunday, February 25, 2024, from 5 pm to 8 pm with a Rosary at 6 pm in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home. Funeral Services are set for 10 am Monday, February 26, 2023, at St. Joseph Catholic Church; with burial to follow at Bryan City Cemetery.

Born December 14, 1946, in San Luis Potosi, Mexico he was the son of Apolonio Sanchez and Maria (Guevara) Sanchez. Guillermo loved gardening and his truck as he was known as a “Chevy man”. He absolutely adored his grandchildren and enjoyed taking them to buy doughnuts. During baseball season, you would never catch him missing his Texas Rangers play! Among all of these, he loved God most of all. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Apolonio and Maria; a daughter, Amy Gonzalez; as well as numerous brothers and sisters.  

Guillermo is survived by his loving wife, Estella Sanchez; two daughters Monica Halbert and husband, Scott and Valerie Sanchez- Capello and husband, Zeek; five precious grandchildren William Roman, Dominick, Eloy, and Savanah and a host of other relatives and friends.
