Guadalupe Aguilar Guerrero, de 78 años, de Bryan falleció el viernes 30 de junio de 2023. Los servicios funerarios están programados para el sábado 8 de julio a la 1 p.m. en la iglesia católica St. Joseph. El entierro seguirá en el cementerio de la ciudad de Bryan. El velorio será de 5 a 8 p. m. el viernes 7 de julio con un rosario a las 6 p. m. en Trevino-Smith Funeral Home.
Guadalupe nació el 2 de enero de 1945 en Jerez, Zacatecas hijo de Tiburcio y María Aguilar. Le gustaba escuchar música y le encantaba silbar con fuerza las canciones que conocía. A Guadalupe le gustaba trabajar su ganado y disfrutaba montando su caballo y su tractor. Fue un amoroso esposo, padre, abuelo y amigo y todos los que lo conocieron lo extrañarán mucho.
Sus padres, Tiburcio y María Conception; cuarto hermanos, Manuel, Antonio y Mario, Ramiro; así como cuatro hermanas, Ofelia, Pancha, María y María De Jesús le preceden en la muerte.
Guadalupe deja atrás para atesorar sus recuerdos: su amada esposa durante 49 años, Lidia Cepeda de Aguilar; dos hijos y sus esposas, Amador Aguilar y Ana, y Guillermo Aguilar y Anabell; cuatro hijas, Lorena Aguilar, Erika Aguilar, Claudia Aguilar y esposo Edwin Sandoval, y Arcelia Aguilar y su esposo Otoniel Galvez; también deja doce preciosos nietos; Guillermo, Isabel, Elvia, Karen, Jasmine, Emely, Anthony, Adrian, Matteo, Askel, Alan, y, Valeria.
Guadalupe Aguilar Guerrero, 78, of Bryan passed away Friday, June 30, 2023. Funeral Services are set for 1 PM Saturday, July 8 at St Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Bryan City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Friday, July 7 with a Rosary at 6 PM in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home.
Guadalupe was born on January 2, 1945, in Zacatecas, Mexico to Tiburcio and Maria Aguilar. He enjoyed listening to music and loved whistling loudly to songs he knew. Guadalupe liked to work his cattle and enjoyed riding his horse and tractor. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend and will be missed greatly by all who knew him.
His parents, Tiburcio and Maria; four brothers, Manuel, Antonio, Mario and Ramiro; as well as four sisters, Ofelia, Pancha, Maria, and Maria De Jesus precede him in death.
Guadalupe leaves behind to cherish his memories: his loving wife of 49 years, Lidia (Cepeda) Aguilar; two sons and their wives, Amador Aguilar and Anna, and Guillermo Aguilar and Anabell; four daughters, Lorena Aguilar, Erika Aguilar, Claudia Aguilar, and husband Edwin Sandoval, and Arcelia Aguilar and her husband Otoniel Galvez; he also leaves twelve precious grandchildren; Guillermo, Isabel, Elvia, Karen, Jasmine, Emely, Anthony, Adrian, Matteo, Askel, Alan, and Valeria.
