Gorden Philip Gaylord, 63, of Bedias, passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2024.  A Memorial service is set for 2PM Sunday, October 6, in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home & Crematory in Madisonville, Texas.

Born January 12, 1961 in Beaumont, Texas he was the son of Larry Edward Gaylord and Shirley Ann (Spain) Gaylord. Gorden was a hard-working family man who loved his wife and children dearly. In his spare time, one could find him reading Louis L’Armour books, grilling for his family, eating Mexican food or listening to Elvis. Above all, he enjoyed the little moments he spent rewatching old episodes of The Walking Dead with his wife, Peggy. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.   

Gorden is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.  

He leaves behind to carry on his legacy, his beloved wife of 16 years, Peggy Gaylord; daughters Lauren Handley and husband, Cavit and Lindsey Burnette and husband, Ryan; a son, Alex Philip Gaylord; a brother, Todd Anthony Gaylord and wife, Amy; five beautiful grandchildren, Alexander, Jet, Graham, Jace and Eva; as well as host of other family members and friends.
