Garrett Harrison     

December 02, 1974 – January 09, 2022

 

Garrett Brad Harrison, 47, of College Station, passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 9th at CHI St. Joseph College Station Hospital. Garrett was born December 02, 1974, in Beaumont, Texas to Derwood Lester Harrison Jr. and Ramona (Stinnett) Harrison.

After graduating from Brenham High School in 1993, he attended Blinn College briefly before joining the United States Army from 1995 to 1996. He married his highschool sweetheart, Jennifer (Phelps) Harrison 1996. In 2006, he received his Associates degree at Blinn College and later received his Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Sam Houston State University in 2008. Garrett was employed at Aggieland High School as a passionate teacher and loved all of his students. He was a devoted husband for over 25 years and a loving father to his two children.

Garrett’s personality, booming laugh, and infectious smile will forever be missed by all who knew him. His father, Derwood Lester Harrison, preceded him in death. Garrett Leaves behind, to cherish his memories his dear mother, Ramona Harrison; his loving wife of 25 years, Jennifer (Phelps) Harrison; one son, Brett Harrison; one daughter, Alaina Harrison; and one brother, Ricky Harrison.

         Cremation services are handled by Trevino-Smith Funeral Home and no services are scheduled.
