Psalm 90:10 – The Years of our life is Seventy, or even by reason of strength Eighty; yet their span is but toil and trouble; they are soon gone, and we fly away.

 

 

SGT. Garey Allen Watson was born August 2, 1947, to George and Ruby Watson, in Burleson TX. He grew up and served in the United States Army where he was in direct leadership of small teams. He was responsible for the training and welfare of junior enlisted soldiers. He received an Army Achievement Medal, Good Conduct Medal w/Bronze, 2 Loops, Army Service Ribbon, Over Seas Service Ribbon, and Marksman Rifle Recognition Award.


 Garey later married Hannelore Beyer, a union that produced two children, Garey Watson Jr and Tanisha Watson. Garey departed this life on December 29, 2025, leaving behind his brother Carey Watson Sr, his children Jessieca Austin, Garey Watson Jr., Tanisha Watson, and a lineage of grandchildren along with a number of nephews and nieces.

 

 

Romans 14:8 – For if we live, we live to the lord, and if we die, we die to the lord. So then whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s.
