   Gabino Medrano Gutiérrez, de 98 años, quien residía de Bryan falleció el domingo 23 de enero. El velorio será de 5 a 8 p.m. el domingo, 30 de enero en la capilla de Treviño-Smith Funeral Home. El rosario será a las 6 p.m. Los servicios fúnerarios están programados para el lunes, 31 de enero a las 11 a.m. en la iglesia católica de Santa Teresa; el entierro seguirá en Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

    Nacido el 19 de febrero de 1923 en Santo Domingo, Municipio del Villa Juárez, San Luis Potosí, era hijo de Juan Medrano y Roberta (Gutiérrez) Medrano. A Gabino le encantaba pasar tiempo al aire libre, haciendo jardinería e ir a mirar carreras de caballo. También mirar partidos de futbol y peleas de boxeo con sus nietos. Disfrutaba pasar tiempo con sus hijos y nietos; siempre estaba compartiendo recuerdos de su vida. Fue un padre y abuelo amoroso.

    Sus padres, Juan y Roberta; su amada esposa de 70 años, Ramona (Murillo) Medrano; dos hijos, Valente Medrano Murillo y Fernando Medrano Murillo; tres hermanos y dos hermanas lo preceden en la muerte.

    Gabino deja atrás para atesorar sus recuerdos; dos hijos, Lorenzo Medrano, y esposa, María L. Balderas de Medrano, Aurelio Medrano Murillo y esposa, María de Rocío Medrano; tres hijas, Benita Medrano Murillo y esposo, Felipe Gutiérrez Buen Rostro, Francisca Medrano Murillo y esposo, Ruperto González, Reina Medrano Murillo y esposo, Francisco Reyes López; dos hermanas, Melquiades Medrano y Ricarda Medrano; y treinta y tres amados nietos.

 Gabino Medrano Gutiérrez, 98, who lived in Bryan, passed away on Sunday, January 23. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, January 30 in the chapel of Treviño-Smith Funeral Home. The rosary will be at 6 p.m. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, January 31 at 11 a.m. in the Santa Teresa Catholic Church; burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

    Born on February 19, 1923 in Santo Domingo, Villa Juárez Municipality, San Luis Potosí, he was the son of Juan Medrano and Roberta (Gutiérrez) Medrano. Gabino loved spending time outdoors, gardening, and going to watch horse races. He also enjoyed watching soccer games and boxing matches with his grandchildren. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren; he was always sharing memories of his life. He was a loving father and grandfather.

    His parents, Juan and Roberta; his loving wife of 70 years, Ramona (Murillo) Medrano; two sons, Valente Medrano Murillo and Fernando Medrano Murillo; three brothers and two sisters precede him in death.

    Gabino leaves behind to treasure his memories; two sons, Lorenzo Medrano, and wife, María L. Balderas de Medrano, Aurelio Medrano Murillo and wife, María de Rocío Medrano; three daughters, Benita Medrano Murillo and husband, Felipe Gutiérrez Buen Rostro, Francisca Medrano Murillo and husband, Ruperto González, Reina Medrano Murillo and husband, Francisco Reyes López; two sisters, Melquiades Medrano and Ricarda Medrano; and thirty-three beloved grandchildren.
