Frankye Coats was born to Frank & Lorene Eidson in Burkburnett, Texas on Oct. 29, 1944. She trusted Jesus as her Savior at 8 years of age at a showing of a Billy Graham film and was baptized on Easter Sunday at First Baptist Church in Kamay, Texas. At the time of her death, she was a member of Reliance Baptist Church. She married Don Coats in 1965, and together with the Lord’s guidance, raised three children. She is survived by her husband, Don, and their three children Amy, Chris & wife Courtney, and Bethany & husband Shawn. Also surviving are three granddaughters Lilly & husband Harrison, Madeline, and Abby; one great-grandson Theodore James; and extended family of brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews. Frankye was preceded in death by her parents and her brother James. She passed away December 7, 2024 after a happy and blessed life. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Reliance Baptist Church.
