Frank Melvin Johnson, 75, of Benchley entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 19, 2025. A Visitation will be held from 11am until service time on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Henry Peyton Cemetery, there will be no formal procession.

Born October 7, 1949, in Bryan, Texas, he was the son of Frances Leroy Jr. and Doris Mae (Bowman) Johnson. Frank enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycles. Above all, he was a family man who enjoyed attending family gatherings, barbecues, and, making memories with those he loved.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents, Frances and Doris; his loving wife, Sharon Johnson; and numerous aunts and uncles.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his son, Melvin Johnson and wife Leslie (Benchley, TX); daughter, Helen and husband James Elliott (Calvert, TX); one sister, Lola Diane (Victoria, TX); seven grandchildren, Justin Shadoan, Stetson Johnson and wife Ali, Cody Johnson, Sierra Johnson, David Litton, Blaire Elliott, and John Minter; six great-grandchildren, Bo Johnson, Lola Johnson, Remi Shadoan, Ashton Litton, AJ Litton, and, Luna Elliott; as well as, numerous cousins and friends.

Frank will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
