Francisco Ortiz Rangel, de 59 años, de College Station, falleció el viernes 11 de octubre de 2024. El velorio está programado para el domingo 20 de octubre de 3 pm a 6 pm con un Rosario a las 4 pm; todo en la Capilla de la Funeraria Treviño Smith. Se programará un funeral a partir de las 4 pm del lunes 21 de octubre en la Iglesia Católica Santa Teresa. El entierro seguirá en el cementerio de Bryan City.

Nació el 19 de diciembre de 1964 en Piedras Negras, Coahuila, México, era hijo de Francisco e Irene (Rangel) Ortiz. Francisco era un hombre de familia trabajador que disfrutaba bailar y ver la selección mexicana de fútbol. Por encima de todo, amaba inmensamente a su familia y apreciaba cada momento que pasaba con ellos.

A Francisco le precedieron en la muerte su padre, Francisco y dos hermanos, Daniel y Reyes García.

Deja atrás para atesorar sus recuerdos, su amada esposa durante 36 años, Lucía Torres; tres hijos, Francisco Javier Ortiz Torres y esposa María, Jorge Ortiz Torres y esposa Kassandra, y Jesús Eduardo Ortiz Torres y esposa María; dos hijas, Alma Lucia Ortiz Torres y su esposo Toyo, y Mónica Ortiz y su esposo Osvaldo; su madre, Irene Rangel; dos hermanos y dos hermanas; nueve queridos nietos; y una gran cantidad de otros familiares y amigos.

Francisco Ortiz Rangel, 59, of College Station, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2024. A Visitation is set for Sunday, October 20 from 3pm to 6pm with a Rosary at 4pm; all in the Chapel of Trevino Smith Funeral Home. A Funeral Service is set from 4pm, Monday, October 21 at Santa Teresa Catholic Church; burial to follow at Bryan City Cemetery.

Born December 19, 1964, in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico he was the son of Francisco and Irene (Rangel) Ortiz. Francisco was a hardworking family man who enjoyed dancing, and watching the Mexican National soccer team. Above all, he loved his family immensely and cherished every moment he spent with them.

Francisco is preceded in death by his father, Francisco and two brothers, Daniel and Reyes Garcia.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his loving wife of thirty-six years, Lucia Torres; three sons, Francisco Javier Ortiz Torres and wife Maria, Jorge Ortiz Torres and wife Kassandra, and, Jesus Eduardo Ortiz Torres and wife Maria; two daughters, Alma Lucia Ortiz Torres and husband Toyo, and, Monica Ortiz and husband Osvaldo; his mother, Irene Rangel; two brothers and two sisters; nine beloved grandchildren; as well as a host of other family and friends.
