Faye Ozment Jones was born on August 12, 1939 and died on July 2, 2021. Faye was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina to George and Lillian Ozment. She was a graduate of Fayetteville High School and Peace College. She married N. Jack Jones on February 27, 1960 and they lived in Raleigh for three years until moving to Maitland, Florida. Faye was active in the Maitland Garden Club and a member of First Presbyterian Church. She resided there until 1987 when she moved to Cypress, Texas where she enjoyed being the best “Gogi” to her grandchildren. In 2016, she moved to College Station, Texas, where she lived until she passed at the age of 81.


She was predeceased by her parents, George and Lily and her brothers Bobby and Jack Ozment. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Jack Jones, her daughter Jacky Pence (College Station, Texas), her son, Rial Jones,(Windermere, Florida), granddaughter, Kallie Donley and her husband, Stewart Donley (College Station, Texas), grandson RJ Jones (Fort Myers, Florida), granddaughter Lexi Jones (Orlando, Florida), and great grandsons, Jaxon and Samuel Donley. “Gogi” will be remembered for her incredible home cooking, her knack with flowers and plants and her love of antiques and collectibles. Most of all, she will be remembered for her enthusiastic love for her family.
