       Estanislada Cortez, 66, of Bryan passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2020. Visitation is set for 4-8PM Tuesday June 30 with a 6PM Rosary in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home. Her burial will take place in Mexico.

       Born May 7, 1954 in Mexico she was the daughter of Bruno and Maximina (Valadez) Becerra. Estanislada enjoyed gardening as well as keeping her home clean. She was a caring person who was kind to everyone she met and always made sure everyone was well fed. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her.

       She is preceded in death by her parents; three daughters; and two sons.

       Estanislada leaves behind to cherish her memories, her husband, Jose de Jesus Cortes Sotelo; one sons, Nicolas Jesus Cortez and Francisca Marquez; two daughters, Ofelia Lopez and Ernesto, and Maria Ancema Cortes and Severiano Marquez; five brothers, Pedro Becerra, Simon Becerra, Ramon Bacerra, Juan Bacerra, and Joaquin Becerra; five sisters, Jacinta Becerra, Romualda Becerra, Teresa Becerra, Venturra Becerra, and Lorenza Becerra; and twelve grandchildren; and one precious great grandchild.
