Eric Dwayne Kelley, age 39, passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 26, 2024, at Baylor St. Luke’s in Houston, Texas, after a courageous battle with cancer. Surrounded by angels in his final moments, Eric leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and creativity.

     Eric was born to Leo Kelley III and Tammy Berry, and he is survived by his mother, Tammy Berry of Bremond, Texas; his brothers, Joshua Miller of Bryan, Texas, and David Miller of Bremond; and his cherished son, Justin Kelley of Henderson, Texas, who was the pride and joy of his life.

      From a young age, Eric had a passion for drawing, which blossomed into a gift for artistry. He used his drawings to express his thoughts and feelings, creating pieces that resonated deeply with those who knew him. Eric was a man of many trades, known for his hard work and ability to tackle any task with determination and skill.Eric’s humble spirit and kind heart touched the lives of many. He had a soft spot for animals, and in his memory, the family requests that instead of flowers, donations be made to any local dog shelter or to the Cancer Clinic in Bryan, Texas, in appreciation for the care he received.
     A Celebration of Life for Eric will be held on October 6, 2024, at 2925 FM 46, Franklin, Texas, beginning at 1:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to come together to honor and remember him.

     Eric was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold and Reba McLearen, and Leo II and Marlene Kelley. his father, Leo Kelley III, and his sister, Ashleigh Kelley.
