         Edwin G. McDonald, 80, of Bryan passed away Monday, May 9, 2022.

          Edwin was born October 27, 1941 in Foreman, Arkansas to Earl Augustus and Christine Martha (Dickerson) McDonald. He was Choctaw Indian and a member of the Choctaw Nation. Edwin proudly served his country as a Marine. He was a carpenter by trade. Edwin loved Chevy pickups and enjoyed painting and rebuilding them along with dune buggies. He loved building homemade ultra light aircraft Planes with his sons-in-law, Gene and Rick. Edwin was always ready to tackle any challenging project and was very organized. He spent his life playing guitar, singing and had a witty sense of humor. Edwin was dedicated to taking his dogs Maxwell and Tuffy on daily walks, they were his world. He enjoyed going to church and knew the Lord as his savior. Edwin was a beloved dad.

         His parents, Earl and Christina; his loving wife Diana J. McDonald; one daughter, Monica L. McDonald Fierro, precede him in death

         Edwin leaves behind to cherish his memories, two sons; Edwin Gus McDonald II and Eric R. McDonald; two daughters, Sherri L. and husband Gene Murray, and Christine and husband, Rick Sloan; 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
