Donna Lea Wilborne
August 31,1960-January 12, 2023
We mourn the loss, but celebrate the life of our beloved Donna Lea Wilborne, of North Zulch, TX. This beautiful soul passed away on Thursday January 12, 2023, at the young age of 62. Born on August 31, 1960 in Marlin, TX, to her parents Donald Eugene Norman & Annie Jeanette Cooper Norman; who unfortunately deceased during her late childhood. Donna was an extraordinary woman, as rare & unique as her favorite flower, the Morning Glory. The Morning Glory represents life, love, resilience & new beginnings, as she was remarkable and loved by so many. She greatly enjoyed arts & crafts and skilled in homemaking. She was gifted sewing, gardening, crocheting, and known for her unique dishes & scrumptious food favorites: her famous fried chicken, homemade bread-n-butter pickles & her one of a kind biscuits & chocolate gravy.
Donna greatly enjoyed her job at TDCJ and loved every single one of her co workers. Her comforting activities were crossword puzzles & word search books. Her family fun filled outings included playing bingo, feeding the ducks, crawfishing and picking dew berries with her children, grandkids & great grandkids, and enjoying a big family meal at her favorite restaurant Golden Corral. During those perfect sunny days, warm nights and clear skies, she enjoyed a ride on that Harley bike with the love of her life, taking in the breeze around God’s country. At the end of the day, she enjoyed a nice hot cup of coffee, puzzle books, Hallmark movies &then reading her Bible; with her pups snuggled in the couch by her side. No matter what, she always had a heart of gold and put her family first & gave all of her love. A loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, friend..and greatly missed by those that love her.
She leaves behind her husband of 29 years, Frank Wilborne of North Zulch, her 4 children and stepson, their spouses, children and grandchildren, and her pups Eli and Baby. Of her oldest daughter, Staci Madora Fox with her fiancé Evan Simpson with their children Jonathan Eric Garcia & his fiancé Emily Feronti, Michael Charles Fox, & Madora Danielle Peck, along with her great-grandchildren Julian Eros Garcia, Mateo Jackson Garcia and departed Viola Beatrix Garcia. Her second daughter Syndi Lou Fox, and her daughter Synthia Marie Lipscomb & son in law Lucas Adam Lipscomb, along with her great-grandchildren Layla Harper Lipscomb & Mickey Linton Lipscomb. Her 3rd child & firstborn son, Elknah Brand’n Keith Williams, and his mini-me Cameron Busa. Her 4th child and youngest son, Lindsey Andrew Wilborne and his fiancé Stephanie Plear Littlefield. Her oldest son extended into the family, David Williams and his wife Michele Williams along with their beautiful 6 children. Her one and only sibling, her sister Judy Bass and brother-in-law Roy Bass. Along with her many friends and family, she will be missed and all will cherish her memories. Donna was Doting, Openhearted, Neighborly, Nurturing and Adored. An amazing woman that will always and forever be loved.
