Donna McGoldrick, 69, of Austin, Texas, gained her wings on Sunday, March 22, 2026 with her family and friends by her side. A Memorial Services is set for 1PM Saturday, April 4 in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home. Roy Dillard will officiate.
Born on June 4, 1956, in LaMarque, Texas, she was the daughter of J.D. McGoldrick and Mary Charles Nelson McGoldrick. Donna was a diva in the truest sense—anyone who knew her would agree. She took great pride in her appearance, always presenting herself with effortless glamour. Gifted with the power of conversation, she could charm people into doing things they never imagined they would. To Donna, there were no strangers—only friends she hadn’t met yet.
She was preceded in death by her parents, J.D. and Mary, a brother, John David McGoldrick, and her twin brother, Donald “Bubba” McGoldrick.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her sons; Jason Hughes and his wife, Kelly (Franklin, Texas), and Cody John and his wife, Kimberly (Bryan, Texas), a sister, Terry McGoldrick Blackmon, four beautiful grandchildren; Wyatt, Cooper, Dawson Hughes, and Sunny Estelle John, beloved fur baby, Cayenne, as well as numerous other extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
