Don Carlos Márquez Aguilar, 89, of Bryan, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2026. A service will be held Monday June 29 from 5-8PM in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home.

Born July 11, 1936 in Mexico, Carlos worked hard to support his family working in construction. He enjoyed the work that he did and loved spending time with his family. He liked antique cars and his treats of eating bananas and drinking coffee and Dr. Pepper. 

He leaves behind to cherish his memories and carry on his legacy his sons; Salvador Aguilar and wife Belinda, Carlos Aguilar and wife Marcella, Jose Aguilar and wife Maria, and Robert Aguilar and wife Amy, daughter; Jessica Garcia and husband Jose, twenty grandchildren, and twenty-two great-grandchildren. He will be missed and forever loved by those whose lives he touched.
