In Loving Memory of Don Miguel Malone
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Don Malone, a beloved 65-year-old husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend who departed this world on August 11, 2023, bound for his heavenly home. He leaves behind a legacy of his remarkable life, touching the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Born on July 17, 1958, in St. Louis Missouri, Don embarked on a journey that would inspire and influence countless lives. He possessed an indomitable spirit that guided him through life's challenges and triumphs, leaving an indelible mark on the world. His compassion for others was a gift that enriched the lives of those around him.
Don was known for his infectious personality, big heart, and desire to help others. He loved working with his hands doing construction projects around the house, spending time at the shooting range, playing golf, scuba diving, and hunting. He was also known to indulge with a glass of rare scotch, an exceptional cigar, and having dessert (before and after a meal) but above all, his passion was for his wife DeeDee and helping people in need.
He devoted 36 years of his life to service to others with a career in law enforcement, professional investigations, and digital forensics. Don’s tenacity and pursuit of truth quickly earned him recognition as a leader in the field. He shared his knowledge and experiences generously, making a lasting impression on his colleagues and peers.
Don has been reunited with those who preceded him in death including his mother, Marva (Jackson) Malone; Father, William McDaniel; Sister, Rockelle Malone; Mother-In-Law, Relda Daniel; and Brother-In-Law, Rod Daniel. As his journey continues, he shall find solace in their presence once more.
Don's memory will live on forever in the hearts of his family members and close friends. He is survived by his beloved wife, Delores (DeeDee) Malone; three daughters, Keyla Valentin, April Halberdier and Jenny Dykes; a brother, Thomas Malone Jr. and his wife, Judy; sisters, D. Renee Malone and Paula D. Malone; nephews, Travis Malone (and his wife, Marleny) and Jarrad Miguel Young; special friends, Paul and Tracy Price, Doug Haynes and Ron Mitchell; as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, and cousins. He also leaves behind a wide circle of friends, colleagues, and acquaintances who have been profoundly touched by his presence.
"Though He may be gone from our sight, his spirit will forever illuminate our souls."
Rest in peace, dear Don.
