Minga Prado, 79, of Bryan, Texas passed away Monday, January 22, 2024. A Visitation is scheduled for 5PM- 8PM Monday January 29, in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home with a Rosary starting at 6PM. A Graveside Funeral Service is set for 11AM Tuesday, January 30, at Oakwood Cemetery in Waco, Texas.

Born August 20, 1944 in Taft, Texas she was the daughter of Bisente and Irenia (Barro) Ramirez. Minga enjoyed spending time with family, dancing, cooking, and especially loved listening to Tejano Music.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bisente and Irenia; father of her children, Manuel F Prado; sons Robert and Christopher Prado; a daughter, Nancy Jean Prado; brothers, Andrew, Vincent, Frank, and Johnny Ramirez; and sisters, Angelita Herrera and Martina Gallardo.

Minga leaves behind to cherish her memories, Sons Andrew Prado and wife, Mary Helen, and Anthony Prado and wife Michelle; daughters, Virginia , Judy Ann  and Veronica Prado; sisters, Felicitas Frias and husband Jose, and Filomena Aleman; She was blessed with, 26 Grandchildren, 94 Great Grandchildren, and 5 Great-Great Grandchildren and numerous other family members and friends.

We know your presence is still among us, Thank you for reminding us every moment is precious, and we should make the most of it by loving fully and generously.

Spread your wings and fly proudly, Minga. You have earned it!
