Demetarice Comeaux, 65, of Bryan, passed away January 30, 2026. A Visitation is scheduled from 10AM until service time, Friday, February 13, in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin at 11 AM Friday, February 13, also at Trevino-Smith. Burial will follow at Bryan City Cemetery.

Born on November 30, 1960, in New Orleans, Louisiana, she was the daughter of Elnora (Rayford) Comeaux and Walter Comeaux. In her spare time, Demetarice enjoyed cooking and entertaining friends and family, finding great joy in bringing people together. She deeply loved her family and cherished every moment spent with them, often creating lasting memories through laughter, conversation, and good food. She also loved watching crime shows, a favorite pastime she enjoyed during quiet moments.

She was preceded in death by her father, Walter; a precious granddaughter, Jacelynn Crouch; as well as several aunts and uncles.

Demetarice leaves behind to cherish her memories her mother, Elnora; two sons Dexter Comeaux and Michael Comeaux and wife, Maribel; two daughters, Crystal Goodman and Oneika Comeaux; three sisters, Betty Gibson and husband Antonio, Dr. Shantina Dixon and husband Nkrumah, Elkisha Rayford and husband Nathan, seven beautiful grandchildren; Ryan Jr., Jaylynn, Noah, Leah, Jada, Jeremiah, Jace; as well as numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog Sky.

She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
