Dawn Roncone (née Doherty), 60, passed away on March 4, 2026, in Texas. She was born on November 3, 1965, and was formerly of East Islip, New York.
Dawn was a caring and compassionate woman who touched the lives of many people throughout her life. She formed meaningful connections through her work and friendships and was known for the care and kindness she showed to others.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Geraldine Doherty and Owen Doherty, and her brother, Mike Doherty.
Dawn is survived by her sisters; Tammy Callas, Donna Doherty, and Jessica Doherty, children; Joseph Doherty, Melissa Roncone, and Alexis Becker; her daughter-in-law, Lori Doherty, wife of Joseph; and her son-in-law, Derek Becker, husband of Alexis, grandchildren; Tyler, Olivia, and Ella, who brought her great joy and pride, and her pets; Zeus, Pecan, Fred, and Lucy, who were very special to her.
Dawn will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and the love she had for her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew and loved her.
