David Wayne Stanley, 64, of Iola, passed away on Friday, August 16, 2024.
Born January 24, 1960, in Dallas, Texas, he was the son of John Murray and Frances Ann (Perry) Stanley. David was a caring, benevolent man who always thought of others. He loved camping, building things, and caring for his parents in their later years. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
David is preceded in death by his parents.
He leaves behind to carry on his legacy, his beloved wife of eighteen years, Dawn (Lee) Stanley; sons, Andrew Stanley and wife, Ressie and Chad Stanley and wife, Rachel; stepson, Steven Thordson and wife, Lela; a stepdaughter Heidi Albright and husband, Christopher; a brother, Greg Stanley; and twelve beautiful grandchildren; as well as a host of other family members and friends.
