David Perez Placeres, 53, of Bryan passed away Friday March 6, 2020. Funeral Services are set for 10AM Tuesday, March 10 in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home; burial will follow in the Bryan City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8PM Monday, March 9 with a 6PM Rosary also at the funeral home.
Born August 25, 1966 in Isla de la Juventud, Cuba he was the son of Amando Mayo Placeres and Delfina (Perez). He enjoyed cooking and loved spending time with his family especially his grandson. David was a friend to everyone he met and liked playing around with the family dogs. He was a loving son, husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his father.

David leaves behind to cherish his memories, mother Delfina Placeres; wife, Sofia Morales; a son and his wife, Daniel Perez Pou and Nepthaly Garcia; three daughters, Sofia Gutierrez, Melissa Gutierrez, and Yaima Perez Pou; one brother, Luis Perez; three sisters, Miriam Perez, Odalys Perez, and husband Rudy, and Idaneris Perez; one precious grandson, Daniel Adrian Perez; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
