David Hernandez Medina, 58, of Bryan passed away Saturday June 12, 2021. Funeral Services are set for 10AM Saturday, June 26 in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home. Pastor Jose Alaniz will officiate and burial will follow in the Bryan City Cemetery. Visitation is set for 5-8PM Friday, June 25 also in the Funeral Home.

Born June 25, 1962 in Ennis, TX he was the son of Hipolito and Justa Medina. He enjoyed welding and fabricating, the outdoors, especially fishing! He loved to dote on his beautiful wife Delia who preceded him in death who was buried the very day he passed from this life.

He is preceded in death by his parents Hipolito and Justa; his loving wife of 42 years Delia DeLaCruz Medina; his daughter and son-in-law, Diane Lee (Medina) and Thomas Stewart; one brother, Hipolito Medina Jr.; and one sister, Lupe Guerra.

David leaves behind to cherish his memories; those who he loved and raised as his own, Sandy Cantu Martinez and husband Robert; Javier Garza and wife Tammie; and Debbie Vela and husband Lance Pointer; three sisters, Josephine Medina, San Juana Elisarraraz, Mary Medina, and niece who he loved as a sister Sylvia Garza and husband Juan Arizmendi; one brother, Eliseo Medina and wife Dell; and nine grandchildren he loved as his own! Cameron, Payten and Emma Martinez; Jazlynn and Khloe Garza; Sonya Leal, Michelle Aguirre, Johana Aguirre, Zuly Kately and Zavier Kately.
