Dana Thomsen Obituary

Dana Thomsen, 57, of Bryan, Texas, passed away on June 28, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with pulmonary hypertension and a lung disease.

She was born on October 23, 1967, to James and Sandra Mynar. Dana was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother. She was known for her warm heart, creativity, and deep love for her family. Dana found joy in the simple things—baking for her loved ones, crafting beautiful projects, and spending quality time with those she cherished most.

She was the proud mother of two children, Dustin Corbin and Payton Thomsen. Dana’s legacy lives on through her grandchildren—Jaxon, Evelyn, Laura, Alex, and Stetson—and her beloved granddogs, Mazey and Dolly.

Dana is survived by her parents, James and Sandra Mynar; her children, Payton Thomsen and Dustin Corbin (wife Meagan); her grandchildren and granddogs; her sister, Kristy Anderson and husband Loren; and her nieces, Haley Luza (husband John, and children Alexis and Rory) and Shelby Ureste (husband Joseph).

Dana’s life was one of love, laughter, and resilience. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
