Dagoberto Herrera Torres, 40 of Bryan, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2023. Funeral Services are set for 1PM Saturday, June 17 at Santa Teresa Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 5PM to 8PM Friday, June 16 with a 6PM Rosary in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home.

Born May 14, 1983, in Matehula, SLP, Mexico he was the son of Joaquin Herrera Nolasco and Jelacia (Torres). He enjoyed singing karaoke in private, and unknown to others was a yes-man. Dagoberto was a big teddy bear! He loved his children immensely, and was more than a brother to his siblings; he was like a father to them for many years.

His maternal grandparents, and favorite paternal grandfather, Sebastian Herrera precedes him in death.

Dagoberto leaves behind to cherish his memories, both of his beloved parents, Jelacia Torres and Joaquin Herrera Nolasco; his loving wife of 12 years, Maria de los Angeles Alvarez; a son, Angel Herrera; three daughters, Ariana, Ximena, and Dayana Herrera; along with three brothers, Victor Herrera and wife Rocio, Israel Herrera, and Juan Jose Herrera; as well as two sisters and their husbands, Ana Herrera and Jose Munoz, and Maria Herrera and Andres Lopez, he also leaves numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
