Crystal Paige Archer McCreedy

October 15, 1984 – February 5, 2023

Our beloved daughter, sister, wife, and mother went to be with Our Lord on February 5, 2023.

Crystal was born October 15, 1984, in Bryan, Texas, to Jan T. and Tanya J. Shook Archer and lived in Flynn, Texas, until 1986 when the family moved to Sugar Land, Texas. Crystal Paige received Jesus into her heart in 1995 at the age of 11 and was baptized at the then First Baptist Church in Sugar Land.

She graduated from Kempner High School in Sugar Land and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of Houston. She worked several years in Human resources for Oil & Gas and Engineering Staffing companies in Houston before meeting the love of her life, Nathan Miles McCreedy. Crystal and Nathan married on October 1, 2016, and to this union was born Miles Carson in 2019 and Olivia Kay in 2021.

The McCreedy family made their home in Richmond, Texas, and attended Second Baptist Church in Katy.

Crystal loved being outdoors “at the ranch” in Flynn; arranging birthday parties for family and friends, RV camping, and trips to exotic destinations. She was active in preschool activities with Miles and Olivia and enjoyed volunteering at children's camps and animal rescue shelters.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Tyry B. and Lois Margaret McCullough Archer of Houston, and maternal grandparents Harold B. and Ola J. Mosley Shook of Sweetwater, Texas, maternal aunt and uncle, Randy and Kay Shook Rubin of Midland, TX.

She is survived by her husband, Nathan; son, Miles; and daughter, Olivia McCreedy of Richmond; parents, Jan and Tanya Archer; brother Justin and wife Holli, and their two children, Pendleton and Prescott all of Bryan; mother-in-law, Connie Davidson; sisters-in-law, Gabrielle Davidson and Desiree Davidson; brother-in-law, Preston Davidson all of Sugar Land; aunt and uncle Maxie and Kenneth Land; cousins, Heather and Daryl Fauss and their two children, Emma and Hudson all of Montgomery, TX.; cousins, Travis and Erin Land and their three children, Lily, Vivian and Levi of Houston. Crystal will be remembered as a loving, compassionate person by a multitude of additional friends and family.

A Memorial Service will be held from 1 to 2 PM Friday, February 17, at the Second Baptist Church Campus, 5757 FM-1463, in Katy. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, February 18, at the First Baptist Church in Flynn. Interment will follow at Clear Creek Cemetery, CR 428 in Leon County, with lunch following at the First Baptist Church in Flynn.
