Cruz Orduña, de 79 años, de Plantersville, Texas, falleció el jueves 3 de agosto de 2023. Los servicios funerarios están programados para el domingo 13 de agosto a las 2 p.m en la Iglesia Católica de Santa María en Plantersville, Texas. El velorio será de 5 a 8 p.m. el sábado 12 de agosto en la Capilla de Treviño-Smith Funeral Home en Bryan, Texas, con el rezo del rosario a las 6 p.m.

Cruz nació el 2 de septiembre de 1943 en la estación De Lourdes San Luis de la Paz, Guanajuato, México, hijo de J. Cruz Orduña y Norberta Arellano. Cruz fue un hombre muy trabajador, que trabajó duro toda su vida para cuidar de su amada familia. ¡Me encantaba el fútbol y siempre escuchaba música! A Cruz le encantaba pasar tiempo con su familia y amigos y todos los que lo conocieron lo extrañarán mucho. Sus nietos eran su mundo y le encantaba estar con ellos y ayudar a cuidarlos hasta sus últimos días.

Sus padres, J. Cruz y Norberta; junto con dos hermanos y una hermana le precedieron en la muerte.

Cruz deja para atesorar sus recuerdos a su amada esposa, Alicia Orduña; tres hijos, J. Cruz Orduña García, Esteban Orduña García, Francisco Orduña García; y seis hijas, Alejandra Orduña García, Blanca Orduña García, Obdulia Orduña García, Alicia Orduña García, Flor Orduña García y Alba Orduña García; también deja 28 preciosos nietos y numerosos bisnietos.

Cruz Orduña, 79, of Plantersville, Texas, passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2023. Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, August 13 at 2 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Plantersville, Texas. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, August 12, in the Chapel of  Treviño-Smith Funeral Home in Bryan, Texas, with the recitation of the rosary at 6 p.m.

Cruz was born on September 2, 1943, at the De Lourdes San Luis de la Paz station, Guanajuato, Mexico, the son of J. Cruz Orduña and Norberta Arellano. Cruz was a very hard-working man, who worked hard all his life to take care of his loving family. He loved soccer and always listened to music! Cruz loved spending time with his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. His grandchildren were his world and he loved being with them and helping to care for them until his very last days.

His parents, J. Cruz and Norberta; along with two brothers and one sister preceded him in death.

Cruz leaves behind to treasure his memories, his loving wife, Alicia Orduña; three sons, J. Cruz Orduña García, Esteban Orduña García, Francisco Orduña García; and six daughters, Alejandra Orduña García, Blanca Orduña García, Obdulia Orduña García, Alicia Orduña García, Flor Orduña García, and Alba Orduña García; he also leaves behind 28 precious grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
