Cristobal A. Gonzales Jr., 84, of Bryan passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2022.  Graveside Funeral Services are set for 11AM Monday, January 17, 2022 at Wheelock Cemetery.  Visitation will be Sunday 5-8PM in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home.

Born January 12, 1938 in Rio Hondo, Tx he was the son of Cristobal and Josephina (Atkinson) Gonzales. Cristobal worked as a butcher for many years in our community. Everyone knew him as a very positive person. He loved to socialize with everyone and never met a stranger.

His parents, one son Joe Luis Gonzales, and three brothers precede him in death.

Cristobal leaves behind to cherish his memories, his loving wife Minnie Juarez; two sons, Chris Gonzales III and wife Rosa Zapata, and John Gonzales; three daughters, Braulia Gonzales, Janie Alcala and husband Ray, and Anna Marie Gonzales and Alfonzo Granados-Munoz; two brothers Alfredo Gonzales, and Fredrico Gonzales; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
