Cory Ball
August 13, 1974 – January 29, 2021
Cory Ball passed away January 29 th at 10:07pm. He lost a valiant battle to respiratory failure. Cory’s family was by his side when he took his final breath. Cory lived a short, but exciting life. He passed away at age 46. A Memorial Service is set for 1PM Monday, February 8 at Amber’s Arbor in Navasota, Texas.
Cory was born to his mother Marie Hurley and his late father Marvin Ball Jr in Bryan, Texas. He always liked being on the move. He enjoyed living in multiple towns in his youth and parenthood life.
Cory broke his back in a work-related accident in 2008. With being on disability it was a struggle to stay afloat for his family, but Cory always found a way to make things work. He made everyone feel comfortable around him. He always accepted them and treated them with kindness. Made them feel like they always had somewhere to call home. He always made
everyone around him laugh and smile, even if it was through joking and sarcastically funny comments.
The Lord called Cory home to gather with his grandparents, father, brother, Marvin the III, loved ones and dogs. When he got called home, he left his remaining family (his wife Cathy Ball, his six kids Kyle Soler-Ball, Colby Ball, Chayla Ball, Conner Ball, Cheyenne Ball, Cory Ball Jr, son-in-law Brian Ray, his mother Marie Hurley, his sister Gina Baker) and many more loved ones. Cory will be missed greatly. We love you and may you rest in peace, Cory Ball.
