Cherie Larie Ayala, 39, Bryan, TX passed away into the arms of the Lord, Wednesday, May 20, 2026. A Visitation is set for Sunday, May 31, from 2pm to 3pm. A Celebration of Life will begin at 3pm on Sunday, May 31; all in the chapel of Trevino Smith Funeral Home.
Born August 16, 1986, in Bryan to Carlos “Charlie” Ayala Jr and Peggy (Smith) Ayala. She adored her family gatherings, making sure her precious dog, Diva, was able to spend time with the family too, and enjoyed practicing makeup, styling her eyelashes, and wearing her favourite jewelry, she also enjoyed the beauty of dream catchers, Mardi Gras masks, loved playing her slot games, and enjoyed eating spicy foods.
She is preceded in death by her father, Charlie, son, Seth Bernal, grandparents, and her partner, Jimmy Galvan.
She is survived by her mother, Peggy Pendley of Aransas Pass, TX, son, Alex Peace of Bryan, TX, daughters; Sha Ayala of Benchley, TX, Mia Ruiz of Byran, TX, Evelyn Ruiz of Bryan, TX, step-children, Jimmy Jr. and Emma Galvan, brothers; Michael Ayala of Aransas Pass, Devin Ayala of Montgomery Illinois, and sister, Sonyi Ayala of Sargent, TX.
Cherie was the beloved daughter, the favourite aunt, and a beautiful soul. She will forever be loved and missed by all who knew her.
