Charli Nicole Castillo, 31, of Bryan, went into the loving arms of the Lord on Saturday, June 28, 2026. A Visitation is set for Tuesday July 14 from 5:00-8:00PM in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home. Service will be held Wednesday July 15 at 11:00AM at Eagle's Nest Ministries with a Burial at Bryan City Cemetery to follow. 

Born February 09, 1995, she was the daughter of Charles Edward Jr. and Tena Irene Rhodes. For all of her years, Charli enjoyed seeing the beauty in life; she was an artist, a painter, and a party planner. She loved people deeply, her family and friends but had a special place for her daughter Celina. Charli loved to be treated with getting her nails done and receiving flowers. She found happiness in life's adventures; she loved to travel, go shopping, and sometimes stayed inside with those she loves watching TV. She loved her forever fur babies MJ and Polar. Charli will be remembered with love and gratitude, and her memory will live on in the countless lives she touched.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Edward Jr. and Tena Irene, her paternal grandparents Charles Edward Sr. and Amalia Rhodes, her maternal grandparents, Roy and Mary Jane Thomas, her aunts, Alice Matthews and Kathy Hinton, her uncle Billy Thomas, and brother-in-law, Darrial Thurmon.

Charli leaves behind to cherish her memories; her loving fiance, Brandon Shaw; her grandmother Linda Thomas; two sons (fur babies), MJ and Polar; her daughter, Celina Castillo; her brother, Roy Rhodes and wife Stacy; her sister, Christena Rhodes Thurmon; her uncles, Edward Rhodes and wife Judy, and John Thomas; her aunts, Nancy Kimble and husband Patrick, Jeanette Baker and husband Dan, Jennifer Chaser and husband Michael; her nieces, Constance, Cierra, Celleste, and Alyssa; her nephews, Thomas, Erik, Josh, and PJ; numerous cousins, great-nieces and nephews, and friends.

She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
