Carolyn F. Peyton, 82 of Benchley, passed away Friday, July 14, 2023. A Graveside Service is set for 11AM Thursday, July 20 at Henry-Peyton Cemetery in Benchley, Texas. Visitation will be from 5 to 8PM Wednesday, July 19 in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home. 

Born May 12, 1941, in London, Texas, she was the daughter of Leonard and Ida Faye (Pettigrew) Haines. Carolyn loved her family, crocheting, fishing, cooking, gardening, and sewing.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Ida Faye; husband, Sonny Peyton; one son, Roy Peyton; a sister, Patricia Smith; one brother, Leonard Dell Haines; a nephew, Nicky Haines; as well as, a brother-in-law, Ernest Dean Massey.

Carolyn leaves behind to cherish her memories, two sons; Tommy Peyton, and Rocky and Wife Kalin Peyton; one sister, Brenda Massey; two grandchildren, Cara and Kevin Peyton; and one great-grandchild, Kaiden Price.
