Los servicios fúnerales están programados para el Miércoles 17 de Agosto a las 3PM en la iglesia católica de Santa Teresa. El velorio será de 5 a 8PM el Martes 16 de Agosto en la capilla de Trevino-Smith Funeral Home.

Nacida el 12 de Enero de 1973 en México, era hija de Bonifacio y Margarita (Martínez) Cruz. Carmen disfrutó sirviendo a los demás y a su comunidad. Era una gran cocinera y le encantaba cocinar para todos sus invitados. Su mayor alegría fue su esposo Sergio, hijos y nietos.

Sus padres, Bonifacio y Margarita le preceden en la muerte.

Carmen deja para atesorar sus recuerdos a su amado esposo durante 30 años, Sergio Nieto; dos hijos, Sergio y su esposa María (Galván) Nieto, y Vernardo Nieto; dos hijas, Griselda Nieto y Lizbeth Nieto; tres hermanos, tres hermana; y dos preciosas nietas, Valeria Nieto-Galvan, Julietta Nieto-Galvan.

Carmen Cruz De Nieto, 49, of Bryan, Texas passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2022. Funeral Services are set for 3 PM Wednesday, August 17 at Santa Teresa Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM on Tuesday, August 16 in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home.

         Born January 12, 1973, in Mexico, she was the daughter of Bonifacio and Margarita (Martinez) Cruz. Carmen enjoyed serving others and her community. She was a great cook and loved to cook for all of her guests. Her greatest joy was her husband Sergio, children, and grandchildren.

         Her parents, Bonifacio and Margarita precede her in death.

Carmen leaves behind to cherish her memories, her loving husband of 30 years, Sergio Nieto; two sons, Sergio and his wife Maria (Galvan) Nieto, and Vernardo Nieto; two daughters, Griselda Nieto, and Lizbeth Nieto; three brothers, three sisters; and two precious granddaughters, Valeria Nieto-Galvan, Julietta Nieto-Galvan.
