CW Reeves
April 15, 1937 – December 17, 2022
CW Reeves, 85, of College Station passed away Saturday, December 17, 2022. A Celebration of Going Home is set for 1 PM Saturday, January 7 in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home. Chaplin Rick Bell and his son Cody Reeves will officiate, and full Military Honors will conclude the service at the funeral home
Born April 15, 1937, in Robstown, Texas, he was the son of Elvin E. and Mattie L. (Glazener) Reeves. CW served our country in the Marine Corps.for 4 years after graduating from Manor High School. He had a passion for sharing the word of the Lord with others and naturally, his time spent in prison ministry brought him great joy. CW was always known as a hardworking man. After spending many years working as a Longshoreman and having horse stables in Houston, he enjoyed his retirement on his ranch in Washington Texas with his wife Jean. He loved fishing and having friends & family over for Fish Frys! He enjoyed hunting, ranching, riding horses, and he loved watching his great-grandkids play sports. His biggest loves were the Lord, his wife Jean, his children, and his grandchildren; possibly the last two may have switched order in his later years.
His parents, Elvin and Mattie along with one brother, William Reeves, a sister, Nancy Johnson, and a granddaughter Sara Reeves precede him in death.
CW leaves behind to cherish his memories, his loving wife of 18 years, Jean Reeves; one son, Cody Reeves and his wife Shelly; a daughter, Kimberly Lamarr; a sister, Carol Maples; as well as five grandchildren, Melissa, Allison, Katy, Case, and Angellei; he also leaves three precious great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Cannon, and Dakota.
