Ausencia Lopez Cabrera

December 18, 1956 – January 28, 2023

Ausencia Lopez Cabrera, 66, of Bryan passed away Saturday, January 28, 2023. Funeral Services are set for 12 pm Saturday, February 4th in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home. Milton Mendoza will officiate and burial will follow in the Bryan City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Friday, February 3rd with family speaking at 6 PM in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home.

Ausencia was born December 18, 1956 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico to Antonio Lopez and Sipriana Torres. She enjoyed being a helping hand to others; as well as, dancing, singing and cooking for family get-togethers. Ausencia was devoted to the Lord and was fond of reading her bible whenever possible. Most of all, she loved her family dearly.

Her parents Antonio and Sipriana; three brothers; and two sisters precede her in death.

Ausencia leaves behind to cherish her memories: her loving husband of 41 years, Ramon Cabrera; four sons, Jaime Saldana and wife, Roxann, Ismael Cabrera and wife, Erendira, Raymond Cabrera, Ricardo Cabrera and Steffany Diaz; two daughters, Claudia E. Esparza and husband Sergio, and Minerva Cabrera; one brother, Antonio Gonzales and wife Rosario Martinez; as well as 19 beloved grandchildren and six precious great-grandchildren.
