Antonia Escobar de Anaya, de 83 años, residente de Bryan, recibió el pésame el sábado 25 de octubre de 2025. El velatorio tendrá lugar el viernes 7 de noviembre, de 5pm a  8pm, con el rezo del rosario a las 6pm, en la capilla de la funeraria Treviño Smith. La misa de funeral se celebrará el sábado 8 de noviembre a las 9am en la iglesia católica de Santa Teresa; a continuación, se procederá al entierro en el cementerio católico Monte

Nacida el 24 de mayo de 1942 en Jerécuaro, GTO, México, era hija de Pedro Escobar Ruiz y Celedonia Guerrero. Antonia sentía un profundo amor por su iglesia y su fe. La iglesia fue una fuente de consuelo, comunidad y alegría en su vida. Más que nada, Antonia amaba a su familia. Ser madre y abuela fue su mayor orgullo y felicidad. La familia lo era todo para Antonia, y ese amor siempre será su legado.

Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, Pedro y Celedonia; su amado esposo de ochenta y cuatro años, Trinidad Anaya; y un bisnieto. Antonia deja atrás para apreciar sus recuerdos, cinco hijos, Alfredo, Armando, Ramiro, Cesar y Juan Anaya Escobar; cuatro hijas, Alicia, Angelica, Elia y Amelia Anaya Escobar; dos hermanos, Sergio y Rafael Escobar Guerrero; dos hermanas, Pureza y Rafaela Escobar Guerrero; veinticuatro nietos y ocho amados bisnietos; así como numerosos sobrinos, sobrinas, primos y amigos.

Antonia Escobar de Anaya, 83, of Bryan, entered into the arms of the Lord on Saturday, October 25, 2025. A Visitation is set for 5PM -8PM Friday, November 7 with a Rosary at 6PM all in the Chapel of Trevino Smith Funeral Home. Funeral Services are set for 9AM Saturday November 8 at Santa Teresa Catholic Church; burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Born May 24, 1942 in Jerecuaro, GTO, Mexico, she was the daughter of Pedro Escobar Ruiz and Celedonia Guerrero. Antonia had a deep love for her church and her faith. Church was a source of comfort, community, and joy in her life. More than anything, Antonia loved her family. Being a mother and grandmother was her greatest pride and happiness. Family meant everything to Antonia, and that love will always be her legacy.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Pedro and Celedonia; her loving husband of fifty years, Trinidad Anaya; and one great grandson.

Antonia leaves behind to cherish her memories, five sons, Alfredo, Armando, Ramiro, Cesar, and, Juan Anaya Escobar; four daughters, Alicia, Angelica, Elia, and, Amelia Anaya Escobar; two brothers, Sergio and Rafael Escobar Guerrero; two sisters, Pureza and Rafaela Escobar Guerrero; twenty-four grandchildren and eight beloved great grandchildren; as well as, numerous nieces, nephews, cousin, and, friends.
