Anthony Jose Banda, 18, of Bryan, entered eternal rest on May 8, 2026.  A Visitation is set for Wednesday, May 20, from 11 AM to 3 PM, all in the chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home. 

Born on October 1, 2007, in Bryan, Anthony was the beloved son of Krystal (Taylor) Banda. He was known for his light-hearted spirit and the way he brought comfort and joy to everyone around him. No matter how difficult a situation seemed, Anthony had a remarkable ability to find the silver lining and remind others that better days were ahead. Even during someone’s hardest moments, he could ease their pain with a joke or a smile. Anthony was very bright and hardworking; he excelled in school, wrote poetry, and, was always striving to achieve his dreams. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed playing video games, watching anime, and, riding bikes with his brothers. Above all, Anthony will be remembered for the joy he brought into people’s lives, his compassionate heart, his unwavering determination, and the laughter he shared so freely with everyone around him.

Anthony is preceded in death by his grandma, Karen Crutchfield, and, his great-grandparents, Bill and Bertha Hall.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his parents, Krystal Banda and Brandi O’Neill; four brothers, Alvino Banda, Sergio Banda Jr., Santiago Banda, and, Jacob Aguilar;  two sisters, Serena Banda and Lorena Banda; as well as, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Anthony will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
