Born March 29, 1938 in San Antonio, Texas she was the daughter of Anastacio and Adelfina (Castillo) Zepeda.

Anna enjoyed reading, listening to music, dancing, and taking vacations to Rockport, Texas. Fishing was another of her favorite past times, and most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Her parents, Anastacio and Delfina; along with her loving husband of 62 years, Manuel Contreras; one son, Frank Contreras; a granddaughter, Sienna Aranda; two sisters, Simona Rodriguez and Maria Pineo all precede her in death.

Anna leaves behind to cherish her memories, three sons, Johnny Contreras, Tony and wife Debbie Contreras, and Augustine and wife Janie Contreras; she also leaves three daughters, Connie Contreras, Linda and Dan Zygarlicke, and Cristina and Herbie Aranda; along with two brothers, Pedro Sepeda and Raymond Sepeda; and we can’t forget her 16 grandchildren, and 11 precious great grandchildren.
