Alice Robin Borden passed away peacefully in her sleep the morning of January 26, 2025, succumbing to lung cancer. Robin was born August 12, 1959 to Henry and JoAnn Vickers in Cameron, Texas. She married Robert Borden October 26, 1979. She has lived in Iola area for over 40 years.

Robin is survived by her sister Jaye Neumann, her brother Darrell (Carolyn) Vickers, brother in law John (Wanda) Borden, sister in law Patsy (Pete) Whitaker , son Justin (Stephanie) Vickers, daughter Nikki (Robert) Williams and her grandchildren, Addyson(Jacob), Jason, Brody, Arella, and great grandchild Konlee. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Borden, her father Henry, and mother JoAnn Vickers. 

Robin lived her life the best she knew and left this earth wishing that her children and grandchildren would find safety in this mixed-up world. While our hearts mourn the loss, we take comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering. In Robin’s final thoughts she shared her pride for children and sincere thanks to friends.

In honor of her final wishes Robin will be cremated and no service taken place. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
