Agustin Salazar Rodriguez
October 11, 1939 – June 6, 2023 

Agustin Salazar Rodriguez, 83, of College Station passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2023. A Rosary is scheduled for 6PM Friday, June 9, 2023 in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home.  A Funeral Service is scheduled for 4PM Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Santa Teresa Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Bryan City Cemetery.

Born October 11, 1939 in San Martin Rio Verde San Luis Potosi, Mexico, he was the son Eleno Salazar and Thomasa (Rodriguez). Agustin greatly enjoyed music, loved tending to his garden, and especially loved all of his pets. Anyone who knew him knew that he was very strong in his faith and was always praying. He was a loving, devoted father who will be missed by all. 

His parents, Eleno and Thomasa; his beloved wife, Maria Arcadia; and one brother, Victor Salazar precede him in death.

Agustin leaves behind to cherish his memories, a son, Luis Morales and wife, Maria Elena; two daughters, Elena and Felix Fernandez, and Lilia and Fernando Portillo; along with two brothers, Eleno Salazar and Jose Salazar; as well as 7 precious grandchildren.
