Adam Alvarado
December 3, 1966 – June 30, 2023
Adam was born on December 3, 1966, to Aurelia and Guadalupe Alvarado. He won his battle with cancer
after nine years on June 30, 2023, with his family at his side.
Adam was a god-fearing man who loved his family dearly. He worked for the city of College Station parks and rec for 16 years. He cherished his co-workers and his softball/baseball fields. Adam loved to barbeque, listen to music, and gather with his family. He loved being outdoors and watching sports especially his Dallas Cowboys. He was a reflection of the heart of God in a dark world whose light shown bright. Adam’s legacy will live on through all the people who loved him or were loved by him. His race has inspired us to continue our own run.
He is preceded in death by his parents (Guadalupe and Aurelia Alvarado), four brothers (Lupe, Joel, Asencion, and Daniel Alvarado), and three sisters (Sylvia Alvarado, Lucy Alvarado, and Gloria Zamora). Adam leaves behind to cherish his memories, his wife of 35 years, Sandra Alvarado; children Francisco Alvarado, Sabrina Alvarado, and Robert Contreras. Four brothers and their wives, Frank and Ninfa Alvarado, Richard and Susie Alvarado, Antonio and Stela Alvarado, and Juan Alvarado; three sisters and their husbands, Mary Helen and Conception Luna, Christina and David Perez, and Rachael Martinez; two granddogs, Roddy and Coco.
