Rufino M. Mendiola

Rufino Masga Mendiola                                                    December 10, 1954 – May 18, 2019

       Rufino Masga Mendiola, 64, of Bryan passed away Saturday, May 18, 2019. Funeral Services are set for 10 am Wednesday, May 22 in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home with burial at a later date in Tinian on the Northern Mariana Island.

       Born December 10, 1954 on the Northern Mariana Island of Rota he was the son of Felipe and Joaquina (Masga) Mendiola. Rufino, known to love the outdoors, liked fishing, hunting, and farming. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend and will be missed by all who knew him.

       He is preceded in death by his parents and four brothers.  

       Rufino leaves behind to cherish his memories, his loving wife Benselina Mendiola; four sons (spouses), Ryan Mendiola and (Noelani), Rufino Mendiola Jr. and (Nikkonia), Baldemero Mendiola and (Serleen), and Steven Mendiola and (Faye); one daughter, Kina Mendiola; three brothers; James Mendiola Sr., Felipe Mendiola Jr. and Joseph Mendiola; six sisters, Fermina Camacho, Balbina Perez, Rosie Long, Martina Morgan, Florine Hofschneider, and Juanita Mendiola; and eleven grandchildren.
