Robert Cruz Ybarra

August 4, 1960 – December 6, 2019

       Robert Cruz Ybarra, 59, of Bryan passed away Friday, December 6, 2019 surrounded by his loving family.  Funeral Services are set for 11 am Monday, December 9 in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 5-8 pm with a 6 pm Rosary also in the funeral home.

       Born August 4, 1960 in Bryan, Texas he was the son of Manual and Micaela Ybarra.  Robert really enjoyed music, dancing the Houston Texans and being with his family especially his two grandkids.

       He is preceded in death by his parents; a brother Ruben Ybarra and a sister Michelle Vela.

       Robert leaves behind to cherish his memories, one son, Ruben (Tonya) Ybarra; one daughter, Christy Lee Anderson; sisters Sylvia (Terry) Ryan, Rosemary (Mario) Lopez, Margaret (Canuto) Ayala and Linda (Juan) Martinez; grandchildren Klarissa and Roman; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

       In lieu of flowers please send donations directly to the Hospice Brazos Valley In-patient Facility.  The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice Brazos Valley: Maria, Cristi, Misti, Susan, Emily, Wendy and Gwen for their loving care for Robert and the entire family.
