Moses C. Hernandez

Moses C. Hernandez, 77, of Bryan passed away Sunday, November 10, 2019. Services are set for 11AM Friday, November 15 in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Bryan City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10AM until service time also in the Funeral Home.
Born February 21, 1942 in Wheelock, TX he was the son of Vincent and Sixta (Contreras) Hernandez. Moses loved the outdoors, he’d work rain, shine, sick or well. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and carpentry as well as woodwork. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and watching cartoons with them. Moses was a calming person who could say a lot without saying a word. He could always be found to listen and give good advice when needed.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Daniel Hernandez, and Elazar Hernandez; and four sisters, Sarah Hernandez, Esther Garcia, Lorenza Vasquez, and Juana Hidrogo.
Moses leaves behind to cherish his memories, his loving wife of 48 years, Virginia Hernandez; two sons, Vincent Reyes, and Randy Hernandez; two sisters, Lupe and husband Johnny Ruiz, and Josie Saenz; two brothers, Pablo Hernandez and Sam Hernandez and wife Barbara; a brother-in-law, Sam Portales and wife Lilly; a sister-in-law, Dora and husband Ralph Davila, five grandchildren, Michaela Angel Bernal, James Vincent Reyes, Lourdes Alexandria Reyes, Jeremy Angel Reyes, and Kolby Alexander Dupont; he also leaves numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
