Eluteria Amaya Turrubiates, 89, of Bryan passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2019. Funeral Services are set for 2PM Sunday, November 3 in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8PM Saturday, November 2 with a 6PM Rosary also in the Funeral Home.
Born February 20, 1930 in Cameron, Texas she was the daughter of Hilario and Miguila (Garcia) Amaya. Eluteria enjoyed being outside and loved to garden and admire her Roses. She loved her family and grandchildren and will be missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her, parents; husband of 40years, Tito Turrubiates; sons, John Reyes, and Geronimo Reyes Jr.; a daughter, Miguila Reyes; a grandson, Geronimo Reyes III; stepmother, Angela Amaya; and five brothers.
Eluteria leaves behind to cherish her memories, a son, Arthur Reyes; a daughter, Linda Reyes; a brother, Enrique Amaya; two sisters, Lucinda Amaya, and Janie Amaya; grandchildren, Estella Gomez, Mitchell Reyes, Christine Castillo, Magdalena Reyes, Daniel Reyes, Esther Reyes, Diana Reyes, Edward Reyes, Yolanda Arevalo, Roxanne Esparza, and Brian Reyes;eighteen great-grandchildren, and seventeen great-great grandchildren.
